"Worlds Fastest Rodeo" starts today!! It is the 98th Annual Livermore Rodeo!! June 11 & 12, 2016
Do you want to see the best PRCA Cowboys and WPRA Cowgirls? Well, this weekend, they will be at the "World's Fastest Rodeo" - The 98th Annual Livermore Rodeo!!! This week has been "Rodeo Week" in Livermore! The entire community, and surrounding communities, have been participating in all kinds of events and activities getting ready to welcome their favorite cowboys and cowgirls to Livermore!
Editors Note: The Livermore Rodeo is part of the PRCA California Circuit. The PRCA/WPRA California Circuit Finals Rodeo will be held October 7 & 8, 2016, at the Antelope Valley Fairgrounds in Lancaster, California. The top 12 PRCA CA Circuit Cowboys and Cowgirls, in each event, will rope and ride for the Circuit Championships and Year End Championships at this event. Growney Brothers Rodeo Company ( website / Facebook ) will provide the animal athletes for the 98th Annual Livermore Rodeo. Bullfighters Eric Layton ( website ) and Tim O'Connor ( Facebook ), along with Pick-Up Men Matt Twitchell ( website ) and Bobby Marriott ( website ) (and Clint Selvester too), will be in the arena to keep our cowboys and animal athletes safe. Congratulations to Matt Twitchell, your 2015 PRCA Pick-Up Man of the Year!

PRCA Rodeo Announcer Will Rasmussen ( Facebook ) will be calling all of the action for the 98th Annual Livermore Rodeo. Your Specialty Act/Barrelman will be Clint “Wolfey” Selvester ( Facebook ). Your Music Director will be Chuck Lopeman.
One of the best in the business, Sherry Sheldon- Gibson will be your Rodeo Secretary for the Livermore Rodeo - she will ensure a smooth running operation. Your PRCA Rodeo Timers, also two of the best in the business, are Haley Bridwell and Molly Twitchell - they will be on hand for all of the timed events.
