81st Annual Marysville Stampede - May 24 & 25, 2014
Two "Cattle Drives", mutton bustin, pancake breakfast, motocross, fireworks - an entire town coming together to celebrate - oh, and of course - PRCA CA Circuit rodeo at its best! It's the 81st Annual Marysville Stampede produced by Flying U Rodeo Company.
Saturday's performance is Tough Enough To Wear Pink - all guests are encouraged to wear pink to support breast cancer awareness. Sunday's performance is Military Appreciation (see website for details - Active Military).
There will also be an exhibit titled "The History of the Stampede - A Tribute to Cotton Rosser". It will feature memorabilia and photos of Cotton Rosser, the Flying U Rodeo, and the Marysville Stampede. For all event information, please visit the Marysville Stampede website and Facebook.

"...Local attorney Nicole Delerio, who was part of the committee that helped organize this year's Marysville Stampede, is excited to be bringing so much attention and awareness to the stampede. "We have the king of the cowboys, a local legend living among us here in Marysville [Cotton Rosser], and we think it is about time Yuba-Sutter recognizes what we have locally," Delerio said."
PRCA Rodeo Announcer Steve Goedert ( website / Facebook ) will call all of the rodeo action at the Marysville Stampede. 2013 "Coors Man in the Can" and "2012 and 2013 PRCA Clown of the Year" Justin Rumford ( website / Facebook ) - Barrelman, along with Bullfighters Aaron Hargo and Donnie Castle, will be on hand to help protect those cowboys! Specialty Act Bobby Kerr ( website / Facebook ) will entertain all rodeo fans! The 2014 Miss Marysville Stampede will be crowned during the rodeo. PRCA Photographer Richard Ruef will capture all of the rodeo memories (Website). Rodeo Secretary Cindy Rosser will ensure a smooth running operation and Rodeo Timers Robin Yerxa and Cindy Rosser will be on hand for all of the timed events.
