Bakersfield, California!  Tonight (May 5, 2017) is the first performance of the 32nd Annual Kern County Sheriff Reserve Stampede Days Rodeo at the Kern County Fairgrounds in Bakersfield, California.  The second performance is Saturday, May 6th and it is "Tough Enough To Wear Pink" - All guests are encouraged to wear pink to show their support!

Because the Kern County Sheriff Reserve Stampede Days Rodeo offers the largest purses of any other comparably sized rodeo in the state, and due to the outstanding high level of contestants competing in this prestigious rodeo, it is often referred to as “The Biggest Little Rodeo in California”.  For all information about the Stampede Days Rodeo, please visit ( website / Facebook ).

Editors Note:  The Kern County Sheriff Reserve Stampede Days Rodeo is part of the PRCA California Circuit.  The PRCA/WPRA California Circuit Finals Rodeo will be held October 13 (first performance) & October 14, 2017 (2nd and 3rd performance, and award ceremonies), at the Antelope Valley Fairgrounds in Lancaster, California.  The top 12 PRCA CA Circuit Cowboys and Cowgirls, in each event, will rope and ride for the Circuit Championships and Year End Championships at this event.  For more info, please visit website /Facebook (we would love for you to give us a "Like").

Veteran PRCA Rodeo Announcer Doc Boene will once again be the voice that guests of the 32nd Annual Kern County Sheriff Reserve Stampede Days Rodeo will hear!  He will keep everyone informed about what is going on during the rodeo with all of our PRCA cowboys and WPRA cowgirls.  Jeff Bunn will be your PRCA Sound Engineer.

The Salt River Rodeo Company ( website / Facebook ) will provide all of the animal athletes for the 32nd Annual Kern County Sheriff Reserve Stampede Days Rodeo.

Nate "Shotgunn" Reed" (PRCA Rodeo Clown, Barrelman, and Entertainer)  will be at each performance.  "Every performance gives me an opportunity to make all new friends & make the audience feel like they are part of the event. Bullfighters Aaron Hargo and Clifford Maxwell will be in the arena to keep our cowboys and animal athletes safe!
