Saturday Night’s Performance – Pink Night
The theme for Saturday Night’s Performance of the 2012 PRCA RAM California Circuit Finals Rodeo is Ride for the Pink Night (October 20th) - A night dedicated to Breast Cancer Awareness! Everyone is encouraged to wear pink to show your support!
We are also pleased to announce that the “Norco Cowgirls Rodeo Drill Team" (Facebook), representing Norco Horsetown USA will be joining us on Saturday Night! Pre-show arena activities begin at 7pm - You do not want to miss this dynamic equestrian drill team - we are excited they are joining us this year!!
Join us in welcoming the members of the Norco Cowgirls Rodeo Drill Team: Mychon Bowen, Mynon Sullivan, Katie Brown, Cristie Cremo, Sharon Dewdney, Jessica Safford, Libby Magargee and Natalie Gibbs.
The Norco Cowgirls are proud supporters of The Challenged Children’s Rodeo and the “Tough Enough to Wear Pink” breast cancer campaign. The Cowgirls’ philanthropy includes taking miniature horses to and participating in the Challenged Children’s Rodeos.
Founded in August 2008, The Norco Cowgirls Rodeo Drill Team has made over 90 appearances to date, under the direction of Mychon Bowen. Devoted to their horses and being the #1 Drill team in California, the team’s goals are to have fun, build friendships, excel in their horsemanship and to represent Norco Horsetown USA.
The Norco Cowgirls is made up of 8-12 Horsewomen riding American Paint and Quarter Horses, providing an exciting, fast paced Rodeo Specialty Act. They perform daring, high speed, precision maneuvers like the “Shoot the Arrow”, “Wedding Rings” and “The Whip”. “We are passionate about our horses, drill and putting on a great show for everyone to enjoy.” You may have also seen us at the San Bernardino, Industry Hills or Hesperia PRCA Rodeos or in The Hollywood Christmas Parade.”
The Norco Cowgirls Rodeo Drill Team had the honor of participating in the internationally televised Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena, CA on New Year’s Day 2012. They also performed at the Rose Parade sponsored "Equestfest" at the Los Angeles Equestrian Center which was televised on RFD TV.
