The Santa Barbara Fiesta Stock Horse Show and Rodeo is the last remaining Stock Horse Show and Rodeo in California! The Fiesta Stock Horse Show & Rodeo Committee has been working hard all year to ensure time honored traditions are recognized and celebrated! A great time is sure to be had by all !

Congratulations to the "2014 Honorary Vaquero" - Mr. Frank Machado.
"... Frank is also involved with the local community thought 4-H as a horse leader where he enjoys helping young kids understand the agriculture community. For the last 18 years Frank has brought his horse to elementary and preschools in the Santa Maria Valley to show the kids how to rope and teach them what a horse is used for in todays ranching operations as well as the true respect and love cowboys have for horses and livestock.

Frank has been a member of the California Cattleman’s Association and served as president of Santa Barbara County. Frank is has also been a Superior Representative for the Superior Livestock Auction. He is also a member of the Vaqueros de los Ranchos and has been an Elks member for 43 years.
Frank resides in Nipomo, CA with his wife of 47 years, Barbara. They have 2 children and 7 grandchildren. Daughter-Debbie Duguran and husband Pete and Son-John Machado and wife Sabrina. Big Stone, Moreno & Growney, and Growney Brothers ( website / Facebook ) will provide the animal athletes for the Santa Barbara Old Spanish Days Stock Horse & Rodeo. PRCA Photographer Gene Hyder ( website / Facebook ) will capture all of the memories made in the arena. Rodeo Secretary Susie Mills will ensure a smooth running operation.
