The Santa Maria Elks Rodeo got underway last night at the Elks Unocal Event Center in Santa Maria California. Last night's rodeo performance was dedicated to "Volunteerism". Three more rodeo performances to go (May 29, 30, & 31, 2015)! Tonight's performance (May 29th) is dedicated to "First Responders". Saturday's performance (May 30th) is Tough Enough To Wear Pink and Cotton Rosser of the Flying U Rodeo Company will be honored. Sunday's performance (May 31st) is Military Appreciation and 5-time World Champion Steer Wrestler Luke Branquinho will be honored. Some of the best PRCA Cowboys and WPRA Cowgirls will be ropin and riding at the 72nd Annual Santa Maria Elks Rodeo.
