Friday Night's Performance - Patriotic Night
The theme for Friday Night's Performance of the 2012 PRCA RAM California Circuit Finals Rodeo is Patriotic Night (October 19th)! A message from Dust n' Diamonds Equestrian Drill Team:
The dream of amazing a crowd with sixteen fast horses, breathtaking maneuvers, and completed by sparkling sequined outfits has become a reality for the Dust n’ Diamonds. Thirty years later that dream is more than ever alive with an invitation to ride at the California Circuit Finals Rodeo.
This fine drill team performs at rodeos, horse shows, parades and special events throughout California, Arizona and Nevada. You will see them clad in their traditional red, white and blue uniforms and riding their horses in complex drill routines at top speed. These dedicated riders love the praise they receive. Their hearts are true and their dreams always high.
The Dust n’ Diamonds come from Tehachapi, California, high in the mountains between the San Joaquin Valley and Mojave Desert. The “Diamonds” consider their role a combination of play and hard work, which is made easier through their love of their horses, western way of life and people they meet.
The “Diamonds” are proud to be considered both a Rodeo performance and competitive drill team and in past years have competed at the Western States Equestrian Drill Competition in Reno, Nevada. They also hold past titles of senior, mixed and Rodeo division winners within that same association.
The Dust n’ Diamonds wish to thank the members of the California Circuit Finals Executive Board for the opportunity to be their 2012 Circuit Finals Drill Team.
