Voting is underway to send One Cowboy and One Cowgirl to NFR !

Congratulations to the top ten winners in Boot Barn's Inaugural Future Stars of Rodeo.   All of these athletes will be featured in Boot Barn print ads and other advertising.  Even more exciting, based on your votes, one cowboy and one cowgirl (along with their families) will win a trip to the PRCA National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Two of the top ten Boot Barn's Future Stars of Rodeo are from California!  Courtney Wood and Jaed Hare.  Courtney Wood is a member of the CHSRA District 1. Jaed is a member of the CHSRA District 3.  Both Courtney and Jaed have qualified to attend the National High School Rodeo Association's Finals Rodeo in Rock Springs, Wyoming, July 15-21, 2012.   Congratulations to them both!  Let's help them get to Las Vegas!

Boot Barn - Vote for your Favorite Future Star of Rodeo

About the "Future Stars of Rodeo" and more "How To Vote" from our friends at Boot Barn:

"The National High School Finals Rodeo is a couple weeks away and many of us at Boot Barn are counting the days until we head out to Rock Springs. Foremost on our minds is congratulating the 10 winners of our Future Stars of Rodeo contest.

We received more than 500 submissions and nominations.  We didn’t have a formula in mind for who we wanted, or a template we needed fill.  We were looking for authentic, distinctly-American high school rodeo athletes -- boys and girls with dirt on their boots, grit in their teeth and determination in their eyes.  Fresh-faced barrel racers to third-generation saddle bronc riders, kids that stand out.  We pondered every response and reviewed each photograph.  And then we listened to our hearts (which was tough, because we wanted everyone to win).  In the end, we selected the following 10 athletes to be the inaugural Future Stars of Rodeo “class. ”

- Bailey Rae Harwell, from New Mexico
- Brody Stallard, from New Mexico
- Courtney Wood, from California &
- Dalton Rixen, from North Dakota
- Emily Faber, from Wyoming
- Hannah Springer, from Arkansas
- Jaed Hare, from California
- Shay Jones, from Washington
- Skyler Sims, from Missouri
- Wyatt Bloom, from Oregon

Congratulations! As a tribute to their spirit, skill and drive, we will use event photography featuring all 10 athletes, in our radio, print and billboard advertising in and around Rock Springs later this month.

In the meantime, check them out and vote to send one cowgirl and one cowboy to the PRCA Rodeo Finals in December.  Yep, we’ll be sending two kids, and their families, to Las Vegas, to see what professional rodeo has to offer.

Boot Barn is proud to support high school rodeo. We are honored by, and appreciate, your participation. And we send a heart-felt wish of good luck to everyone heading to the finals!"

From the PRCA California Circuit - Thank you Boot Barn for everything you do to support the sport of Rodeo!  Good luck to all the contestants at the National High School Rodeo Association National Finals!
