The Miss Rodeo California Pageant will be held in its new home town - Lancaster, CA, which is also home to the PRCA RAM California Circuit Finals Rodeo ( website / Facebook ). The pageant will be held October 15 - 17, 2014. Competition will include, but may not be limited to, the following categories: Horsemanship, Speech, Modeling, Personal & Horsemanship Interviews, Raffle ticket Sales, Photogenic, Personality & Appearance. The host hotel will be the Oxford Inn & Suites ( website / Facebook ).

Your 2014 Miss Rodeo California, Ondrea Edwards, has been a very busy ambassador. From the moment she was crowned, Ondrea has been on the road representing both the Professional Sport of Rodeo and our beautiful State of California.

In June, those "road trips" got a little sweeter. Hunter Dodge - "RAM of the West" in Lancaster, CA ( website / Facebook ), became the official "Vehicle Sponsor" for Miss Rodeo California.

On June 4, 2014, Ondrea was presented with the keys to her new "Official Miss Rodeo California RAM Truck", by Tom and Tim Fuller, owners of H.W. Hunter Dodge / RAM of the West , and long-time major sponsors of the Showdown Rodeo and of the PRCA RAM California Circuit Finals Rodeo. This beautiful 2012 RAM 3500 Dually Diesel, crew cab SLT (valued at over $40,000), was donated by the Fullers, and will be used by Ondrea during her reign as Miss Rodeo California 2014, and will be passed on to the future reigning Miss Rodeo California.

On March 19, 2014, Ondrea traveled to Sacramento for "National Ag Day at the Capitol".

Then she was off to Oakdale Rodeo, Glennville Rodeo, Ramona Rodeo, Mother Lode Round-up, just to name a few. She participated in many parades and several special events surrounding these PRCA CA Circuit Rodeos. Not only has she met many wonderful people, but she has made life-time memories. She was even photographed, at the Oakdale Rodeo, by PRCA Photographer, Matt Cohen (website / Facebook ) for his next rodeo photography book - "Under the Brim". These photos are already world renowned and she was happy to be the first Miss Rodeo California captured for this project.

On July 3 & 4, 2014, Ondrea traveled to Lancaster, CA, to help promote the upcoming PRCA RAM California Circuit Finals Rodeo (October 17 & 18, 2014 - website / Facebook). The PRCA RAM California Circuit Finals Rodeo is Miss Rodeo California's rodeo, and we know she will do an absolutely tremendous job.
While here in Lancaster, Ondrea had the opportunity to personally meet and thank many of our sponsors and volunteers for all they do for the PRCA California Circuit & the Circuit Finals Rodeo. She was also able to meet many rodeo fans who were in attendance at the 4th of July Celebration/PBR at the Antelope Valley Fairgrounds - Lots of fun was had by all and she never lost that sparkle in her eye or that beautiful smile - even after taking hundreds of photos with fans! Thank you Ondrea for being such a wonderful ambassador.
This past weekend, Ondrea made a quick stop at the California Rodeo Salinas and now she is off to the "Daddy of 'em All" - She will be representing the State of California at Cheyenne Frontier Days Rodeo. Safe travels Ondrea - See you in October!
