During the summer months, the City of Lancaster (website/Facebook), one of our Partners in bringing the California Circuit Finals Rodeo to our Antelope Valley Fairgrounds (website/Facebook), hosts “BLVD Farmers Market “. This event has become a tradition in our community and has grown to include, craft and food vendors, as well as an opportunity to visit the vast array of boutiques, shops, restaurants, and museums, who all call the BLVD home. The BLVD (Facebook) is also home to the “Aerospace Walk of Honor” and the Lancaster Performing Arts Center. Thursday nights would not be complete without the ever popular “Toyota All-American Concert Series” (Facebook) where each week, a different genre of music is presented by a live band who perform on the BeX Bandstand (website/Facebook) . A safe and family friendly environment ensures this event is a great way to meet new people or to spend the evening with friends.
On Thursday, August 8th, Jacob Nelson and the Tone Wranglers (website / Facebook) will be performing under the beautiful blue Antelope Valley skies, on the contemporary and unique outdoor BeX Bandstand Stage (corner of Lancaster Boulevard and Erlich Street) for “Country Night on the BLVD.”
We are also pleased to announce that Jacob Nelson and the Tone Wranglers will be the headline band the “Van Dam Barn Dance” – The dancing starts right after rodeo both Friday and Saturday Nights (October 18 & 19, 2013) – for more info visit the California Finals Rodeo website / Facebook.
If you are in the area, we invite you to stop by the California Circuit Finals booth (directly across from the BeX Bandstand) and meet Miss Rodeo California (website / Facebook).
You will also have the opportunity to meet and talk with PRCA Circuit Cowboy/ Bareback Rider Cesar Kid-Bañuelos (Facebook). Many will remember “Kid” from his appearance as a contestant at last year’s PRCA California Circuit Finals Rodeo. He will be on hand with some of his “tools of the trade” to help introduce and educate kids (young and old) to the Professional Sport of Rodeo; he will also be on hand for autographs and photos.
