This weekend, PRCA Cowboys and WPRA Cowgirls will come together at the Tehama County Fairgrounds Arena for the 93rd Annual Red Bluff Round-Up! Red Bluff has hosted several events over the past several days leading up to rodeo, including the Round-up Dinner and Dance, the 2014 Red Rock Red Release Party, a "Tough Enough to Wear Pink" fundraiser at the Growney Ranch, Women's Bikini Barrel Racing, Cowboy Poetry, and so much more including a concert by Country Star Mark Chestnut followed by a dance with Red Bluff's favorite locals and rising Country Stars - the Chad Bushnell Band (website)!
The first performance of the Round-Up Rodeo is Friday, April 18th - "Family Day". The second performance is on Saturday, April 19th, and the final performance will be Sunday, April 20th, after Easter Cowboy Church Service. PRCA Rodeo Announcers Bob Tallman ( website ) and Wayne Brooks ( website ) will be on hand to keep rodeo fans abreast of all of the action inside the rodeo arena. Fresh off crowd pleasing performances in Oakdale, 12-time PRCA "Specialty Act of the Year" - John Payne - "The One Arm Bandit" ( website / Facebook ) will entertain all of the rodeo fans in attendance. Bullfighters Dusty Truckness and Eric Layton, along with the Pick-Up Men and Barrelman JJ Harrison, will be in the arena keeping all of the contestants safe. Sherry Sheldon-Gibson and Diana Alexander will serve as the official "Timers" and Cindy Rosser will serve as the official "Rodeo Secretary".
Stock Contractors Flying U Rodeo ( website / Facebook ), Growney Brothers Rodeo Co ( website / Facebook ), and Western Rodeos will provide all of the animal athletes for the Red Bluff Round-Up.
