Spring is here and the PRCA/WPRA California Circuit is back in action and that action will be in full swing in the "Cowboy Capital of the World" - Oakdale, California!!! (See below for "PRCA/WPRA Standings - unofficial" heading into Oakdale!)
This weekend, April 11 & 12, 2015, it's the 64th Annual Oakdale Saddle Club Rodeo! Week long festivities will host a variety of community events leading up to the PRCA/WPRA CA Circuit Rodeo performances at Oakdale! Be sure to visit the Oakdale Saddle Club Rodeo ( website / Facebook ) for all event information and times!!.

Tonight (April 9th), the Oakdale Cowboy Museum ( website / Facebook ) will host the Oakdale Chamber of Commerce "Mixer" which will include the coronation of Miss Rodeo Oakdale 2015! Good luck to all of the Miss Rodeo Oakdale contestants (link).
Performance One of the Oakdale Saddle Club Rodeo will be Saturday - April 11th - with Grand Entry at 1:30 PM. However, before rodeo, be sure to attend the Rodeo Parade which starts at 9 am! The Grand Marshal(s) for the parade will be the Bacigalupi Family! The Bacigalupi Family was recently honored with the 2014 Lifetime Achievement award at the 69th Annual Oakdale Chamber of Commerce Awards Dinner - Congratulations and thank you for all you do!
Be sure to look for our Miss Rodeo California 2015, Carollann Scott ( website / Facebook )! She will be both at the parade and will represent our great State, the CA Circuit Finals Rodeo, and the sport of professional rodeo, at both performances of the Oakdale Rodeo!
Performance Two will be Sunday, April 12th and it's Tough Enough to Wear Pink!! Grand entry starts at 1:30. Cowboy Church begins at 10 am at the Oakdale Rodeo Grounds.

PRCA Announcer, Jody Carper (website), will call all the action inside the arena. Crowd favorite - Justin Rumford ( website / Facebook ) will be on hand to entertain rodeo goers. In 2014, Justin was named the PRCA "Barrelman of the Year" for the 3rd year in a row - Congratulations Justin! Bobby Kerr ( website / Facebook ) will be the Specialty Act - A performance you will not want to miss. Bullfighters Rick Moffatt and Chance Jackson (along with Justin Rumford) and Pick-up Men Jeff Shearer, Bronc Boehnlein, and Rick Moffatt, will be in the arena to keep our cowboys and animal athletes safe.
Flying U Rodeos (Website / Facebook) will provide all of the animal athletes for the Oakdale Saddle Club Rodeo. Veteran PRCA Timers Sherry Sheldon Gibson and Robin Yerxa will be on hand for all the timed events and Cindy Rosser will lead the team as the Rodeo Secretary.
PRCA Photographers Matt Cohen ( website / Facebook / Instagram), Phil Doyle ( website / Facebook ), and Dan Hubbel (Facebook), will be on hand to capture all of the rodeo action and Oakdale Rodeo Memories!
